What do you need to obtain optimum performance from your boiler?

A clean and efficient burner/boiler unit

Boiler engineering and maintenance has become a very specialised operation requiring expert knowledge and equipment. A good engineer will check your whole boiler installation, from the oil tank, to exhaust gases etc. A good exhaust gas reading is proof of an efficient burner unit.

Although we don't have our own boiler engineers, we highly recommend Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC) registered technicians who provide an excellent service. OFTEC represent the oil heating and cooking industry throughout the UK. To locate a boiler engineer local to you use the OFTEC website's locate a registered company search.

Only top quality fuels

Always use a quality fuel to obtain the best and most economical results from your boiler. Poorer quality fuels may have a lower calorific value and therefore provide less energy per litre. WCF Fuels - North West supply only top quality TEXACO kerosene which has a typical sulphur content of only 0.05% exceeding British Standards.
