A regularly serviced boiler will maintain the best possible efficiency and will help extend the life span of working parts. Most boiler manufacturers recommend that you service your boiler once a year and we recommend that you use a top quality heating oil fuel such as one of our Premium Heating Oils to maintain efficiency between services. Lower quality fuel may have a lower calorific value providing less energy per litre and may cause damage to some parts via a build up of carbon deposits. WCF Fuels only collect high quality heating oil from fuel terminals throughout the Northwest of England which exceeds the British standard specifications.
Although we don't have our own boiler engineers we recommend that you use an OFTEC (Oil Firing Technical Association) registered engineer who provide a professional service.
