What happens if i run out of fuel? When you run out of fuel you run the risk of dragging up the bottom of your tank, this can then cause major issues throughout your systems. Sludge and dirt sits at the bottom of your tank, this can then be dragged into the fuel lines and filters. Once this is the case then it may be required to have an OFTEC Registered Engineer clean the lines/filters and restart your boiler. This can then mean the cost of repairing the system, call out charges and an emergency delivery of fuel can add up to over £1000.
How can I stop this from happening?
Its extremely simple. WCF Fuels have designed a gauge that is fitted to your tank by one of our experienced and skilled engineers, fitting the gauge requires no drilling or mess. This will then measure the levels in your tank up to 4 metres and then inform our team here at WCF Fuels North West once a top up of oil is needed. The team will continue to monitor your tank to ensure you are always topped up.

What do I need to do?
Absolutely nothing, this will be monitored by your very own dedicated account manager, we pride ourselves in our customer service and want to ensure that our customers get the best from their heating oil. Your account manager will be at the end of the phone for you to contact in business hours or via the top up email out of office hours.
Your account manager will keep an eye on your fuel levels and track when you will need your next fuel delivery. You wont have to lift a finger, as soon as your levels get to an amber level our dedicated driver will be on his way.
Our drivers will then have access to your tank to keep you topped up throughout the year. We will discuss location of your tank and access on fitting to ensure that it is as easy for you as possible.
Once a delivery has been made your account manager can ensure that you are kept in contact with, you are also able to check levels on your app.
Why is this any different from the top up service i already receive?
Our monitors give you more security. They alert both your account manager and yourself if there is a sudden drop in your fuel level. You get the piece of mind as if you were on a mains system.
There is is no dipping of the tank is needed throughout the year and levels can be checked anywhere and any time of the day.
