Prefer to opt into our top-up scheme? Our account department will be in touch to discuss the best payment option for you. We have two options depending on whether you are a home owner or tenant of a property.
How does TankEyes work and how should I prepare my tank for installation?
Depending on the type of tank and volume of the tank, our engineers will determine the most accurate sensors. It will either be by a capacitive or float arm sensor. To ensure stable connections, a signal booster will also be added near the tank. No drilling or cutting will need to be made to your tank, it will simply screw in.
To prepare your tank for the engineers visit, please ensure it is unlocked with clear access to the tank ensuring any pets or animals are kept safely away.
Who do I contact if I have any issues with my monitor?
In the very unlikely issue that there is an issue with your monitor, please contact WCF Fuels North West direct on 01524 733669 and we can make arrangements for your monitor to be repaired.
How long will it take for my monitor to be fitted?
All monitors will be fitted within 2-3 weeks of ordering. An engineer will be in contact to arrange the date of fitment at a convenient time.
What is your returns policy?
If you change your mind within the first 30 days, you can request a removal of the monitor.
I am responsible for multiple tanks, can I view readings for them all?
Yes, multiple monitors can be added onto one account, this is ideal for businesses or holiday properties.
Do I have to use WCF Fuels for my fuel?
If you've purchased the TankEyes device outright, you’re free to use any fuel supplier.
However, if you're on our automated top-up plan, we ask that you do not order fuel from other suppliers. This is because the monitoring hardware is included in your service. Unauthorized third-party top-ups may lead to monitor removal, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
Can I order a specific amount of litres?
Yes, as long as it is over the minimum quantity of 500 litres.
What is a planned Payment account?
A Planned Payment account allows for you to spread the cost of your heating oil by setting up a monthly direct debit. You can choose a fixed amount to be credited to your account each month. Add extra payments at any time to build up extra credit for the winter.
What is a top-up account?
A top-up account is designed for homeowners, we will send you an invoice after each delivery. No upfront payment is required, simple pay upon receipt of the invoice.
